Most corporate apparel in New York City is ordered through a catalog, decorated in another state, and shipped in a box nobody checks until the day of the event. It usually arrives. It is usually fine. And when it is not fine, there is no one to call who can actually fix it before Thursday.

We are a decorating shop in Staten Island. We run the embroidery machines and the presses ourselves, which means when something needs to change, it changes here, today.

Why companies move to a local shop

You get a proof before anything runs. For embroidery that means an actual stitched sample, not a rendering. Thread does not behave like a PDF, and a color that looked right on screen can read differently in polyester under shop lights.

Your artwork stays on file. Digitizing is included on the first order and never charged again. A new hire in eighteen months gets the same logo, stitch for stitch, on the same garment.

Mixed sizes are normal. One order, everyone from XS to 4XL, without a conversation about minimums per size.

There is a person on the phone. Not a ticket queue. If a date moves or a count changes, that is a call, not a change request.

Getting it to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx

Most corporate orders go out shipped, and shipping across the city is quick from Staten Island. Local pickup is free if somebody is coming this way, which for a large order is often worth the trip.

Rush work is possible more often than people expect, but it depends on the decoration method and the blank being in stock. Ask early rather than assuming it is impossible — and ask before you promise a date to your CEO.
